Students pursuing a combined degree in Human Services and Psychology will integrate the theoretical frameworks and skills relevant to both of these areas of study. This degree curricula focuses on clinical and policy interventions that promote wellness on the individual and community levels. Situated in a social justice framework, this curricula emphasizes how structural forces impact psychological and social well-being, barriers to treatment, and inequities in mental health outcomes. Through courses, service-learning, co-op, and research experience, students will synthesize theoretical knowledge with practical skills used when working with individuals across the lifespan and in multiple settings.
