The Human Services Organization is offering several volunteer opportunities.

Carter School Thanksgiving Luncheon

The Carter School is looking for volunteers for their Thanksgiving Luncheon THIS Friday, November 17th, 2017. They’re offering FREE LUNCH to all volunteers. The times and descriptions are as follows:

TOMORROW- Thursday (Nov 16), 3:45-5 PM: Set up

Friday, 11:00AM-1PM: Help set out and serve the food then walk around picking up and disposing of plates and cups

Friday, 12:30 – 2 PM: Help pack up leftovers and clean up serving area and kitchen

Friday, 2PM – 3:30 PM: Assist in breaking down tables, chairs and storing them away.

Prison Book Program

Come volunteer with us at Prison Book Club where you can help send books to prisoners! We’ll be volunteering THIS Saturday, November 18th from 10am-1pm, helping pick out books based on people’s requests, doing inventory of books and invoices, and then packaging them off to be sent! Be aware that the commute to get to this location is about an hour. Sign up here!

New England Center and Home for Veterans

If you want to help and give back to those that have served you, then we have an opportunity just for you! Click here to serve dinner to veterans on Saturday, December 2nd 4pm-5pm.

Community Servings

We will be preparing and packaging foods for chronically ill patients at Community Servings on Wednesday, December 6th from 6pm to 8pm. Sign up here!
