Alicia Svenson
PhD in World History
Alicia is a doctoral student in World History at Northeastern University. She completed her M.A. in Public History at Northeastern in 2021. She has a B.A. in Portuguese and Brazilian Studies from Brown University and a M.Arch. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Before arriving at Northeastern she worked as a preservation specialist for architectural design and historic preservation consulting firms in New York and Boston. She is interested in the intersection of construction and architecture, particularly around the development and marketing of building products.
