Delanie Nahikian
Criminology and Justice Policy, PhD
Delanie Nahikian is a doctoral student in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University. She holds B.A.’s in Criminology, Sociology, and Psychology from Capital University. She currently works as a research assistant for Dr. Natasha Frost investigating various parts of the correctional system. Delanie‘s research interests involve analyzing the role of media in creating and maintaining social boundaries and how these boundaries impact public opinion, policy, and marginalized groups within the context of the criminal justice system. More specifically, she is interested in investigating the role of cumulative disadvantage in criminal justice system contexts.
