Experiential Learning:
Isa has completed an internship with the Mexican Consulate Department of Legal Protection. They have also conducted two research projects:
- Long term project with Professor Ramiro Martinez studying homicide data in Miami-Dade County and its links to the sociological underpinning of violence in BIPOC/immigrant communities;
- PEAK Award + Independent research project (SOCL4993) – Project on the dissection of political understanding within Latinx communities
