The Africana Studies Program invites you to join us for our upcoming event, FREDA: A Film Screening & Conversation with the Director. 

The event will be taking place on September 28, 2022 at 6:00 PM ET in the Blackman Auditorium. FREDA is a Haitian film that follows the life of a young woman challenged with the difficult choice to either leave her home or seek change within it. After the screening, the Director of Africana Studies, Dr. Régine Jean-Charles, will be in conversation with the Director of the film, Gessica Généus.
