Professor Elizabeth Maddock Dillon was awarded the 2016 Richard Beale Davis Prize for her essay, “Atlantic Aesthesis: Books and Sensus Communis in the New World.” The Richard Beale Davis Prize honors the best article published in Early American Literature in a publishing year.
