Future Faculty Fellow, Public Policy and Urban Affairs

Frances Roberts-Gregory joins SPPUA and CSSH as a Northeastern University Future Faculty Fellow. Her feminist activist research explores the experiences of women and youth of color advocating for environmental, energy, and climate justice, with a specific focus on women and youth in Gulf Coast Louisiana. She completed her doctoral studies at UC Berkeley in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management and is a co-founding member of the Feminist Agenda for a Green New Deal. Frances also recently joined the advisory board for the Hive Fund for Climate & Gender Justice. Her areas of scholarship include: Gender and Climate Change; Resilience, Sustainability, and Climate Adaptation; Food Justice; Feminist Environmentalism(s); Digital Media and Digital Activism; Community Geography.
