The Northeastern University Global Asian Studies Program is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 Hong Liu China Studies Student Award. We are thrilled to recognize and support the vision of outstanding Northeastern students who have shown their exceptional opportunities in building relations between the United States and China based on peace, justice, and mutual understanding.
Please see the profiles of the winners below. We are proud to support such a dynamic group of future leaders as they take their next steps toward making a significant difference on the global stage.
The award is made possible from a generous gift by Hong Liu (CSSH ’87, ’89, P’14). An entrepreneur, educator, and alumna of Northeastern University, she has dedicated her life to fostering better understanding between China and the United States.
The Hong Liu China Studies Award Committee consists of Professors Jonathan Benda, Philip Thai, and Vanessa Wei.
