The Global Asian Studies Program Announces the Hong Liu China Studies Student Award Winner of 2025

The Northeastern University Global Asian Studies Program is pleased to announce the winner of the 2025 Hong Liu China Studies Student Award. We are thrilled to recognize and support the vision of outstanding Northeastern students who have shown their exceptional opportunities in building relations between the United States and China based on peace, justice, and mutual understanding. We are proud to support future leaders as they take their next steps toward making a significant difference on the global stage.

Please see the profile of the winner below. The award is made possible from a generous gift by Hong Liu (CSSH ’87, ’89, P’14). An entrepreneur, educator, and alumna of Northeastern University, she has dedicated her life to fostering better understanding between China and the United States.
