In April 2023, Professor Lee was selected by the University Honors Program for this year’s John Portz Faculty Excellence Award.
According to the nominating student, “He treated me not merely as a student, but as an emerging colleague in his field. This instilled me with the confidence to submit my work for presentation and publication in a greater variety of venues, and to know that I truly was a member of a scholarly community, rather than simply either a visitor or intruder.”
