Camila Santos Pereira (she/her) is a teacher and a social scientist. She holds a BA and a Licentiate degree in Social Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul and a master’s degree in Education from the State University of Rio de Janeiro. Before entering the program, she worked with special education and in non-profit organizations focused on popular education. Her main interests are comparative research, race, affirmative action, and education in Brazil.
Areas of Research/Interest: Sociology of education, Racial & Ethnic Relations, Decolonial theory, Black Feminisms.
