Halle Brockett

Halle Brockett was first exposed to American Sign Language by her Hard-of-Hearing mother. Her early exposure to ASL drove her to develop her skills through higher education. She found a home with Northeastern’s diverse and welcoming ASL and interpreting programs, and is working towards becoming an interpreter in the performing arts.

“With my deeply rooted interest in American Sign Language, I was drawn to CSSH at Northeastern for their longstanding, leading ASL program. Through classes in deaf culture and interactions with the wider Boston Deaf Community, my education has grown in ways I had never imagined.”
