Music minor

Isaac Shur started as a music major, but Northeastern’s co-op program turned his attention to academia and philosophy. After changing his major to PPE, Isaac designed a novel experiential learning program, splitting his time between independent research and being a teaching assistant, which better prepared him for graduate school.

“I began college wanting to be a music executive, but I ended it on the way to becoming a philosophy professor. It may sound like a cliché, but NU really did help me find myself.”
Isaav has gone on to earn a Master’s degree in philosophy, and is currently working on a PhD in philosophy.
