Community Engagement:

Maya served as a service-learning volunteer for Girls’​ LEAP and collaborated with team to prepare and implement seven weeks of self-care workshops for youth participants.

Experiential Education:

Maya’s first co-op was with Northeastern Career Design office’s NU PLACE initiative. She served as a diversity, equity, and inclusion program associate, helping connect students from a range of historically marginalized backgrounds to professional development and career advancement opportunities. Maya’s second co-op was at the Boston Housing Authority. There, she connected public housing residents with digital literacy resources and affordable internet programs. Maya also participated in a Dialogues of Civilization centered around London-based psychologists who taught about abnormal psychology and personality.
