Olga Skaredina
PhD in Public Policy
Olga is a PhD student in Public Policy at the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs, with a concentration in Sustainability and Resilience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics from Siberian Federal University, Russia, and a Master of Arts in Asian and African Studies from the National Research University Higher Schools of Economics, Russia. Prior to joining the program, Olga studied for one year at the University of Massachusetts Boston majoring in global governance and human security.
Olga has a strong interest in global environmental governance and the role of civil society, particularly children and youth, in the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change. She is actively engaged in youth advocacy and youth empowerment from an academic perspective.
