Rebecca is a Sociology major with a minor in Women’s, Gender and Sexuality studies. She has completed two full time co-ops at CODEPINK, a grassroots anti-war organization located in Washington D.C., and Jane Doe Inc., the statewide coalition to end domestic violence and sexual assault. She also completed a part time co-op in the research department of Fenway Health, volunteered for a year and a half as a medical advocate at the Boston Area Rape Crisis Center, and was involved in a vibrant campus campaign to support food service workers in their struggle for a livable wage. Rebecca’s professional, volunteering, and organizing experiences, combined with classes like Nonprofit Sector & Social Change have helped her to develop a nuanced understanding of social problems and effective strategies for social change.
