Alicia Sasser Modestino (Associate Professor of PPUA and Economics; Director of Research, Dukakis Center) was featured in two Axios articles to discuss the childcare crisis and how it is impacting the economy. Modestino notes how Congress has “really left the left the child care industry to fend for itself,” which is only adding to the intensity of this issue as parents attempt to reenter the workforce.
