The Office of Prevention and Education at Northeastern (OPEN) in observing Sexual Assault Awareness Week, Monday April 7th – Friday April 11th. This week is centered on increasing the Northeastern community’s awareness of the prevalence of sexual violence and to offer spaces for healing and support for those impacted.
This interactive one-hour program explores what it means to call someone in, when and why to do it, and how it can help prevent harm and strengthen communities. Participants will reflect on their own experiences, learn simple strategies for having these conversations, and understand how addressing uncomfortable moments can create space for accountability, growth, and change.
