Fefu and Her Friends is one of the most influential – and invisible – plays of the 20th century. An innovation of immersive theater, Cuban-American playwright María Irene Fornés’s feminist comedy-drama allows the audience to be a fly on many walls in this unconventional tale of eight friends gathering at a New England country home to plan a fundraiser. This production will use a dystopian framing device to align the gender politics of the world depicted in the play (which premiered in 1977) with our contemporary gender politics. This play is directed by WGSS affiliated faculty, Dani Snyder-Young.

General admission: $10 per person.

Current Northeastern students $5 per person.  Current Northeastern students can purchase tickets at a discounted rate of $5 per person, but each student must purchase their own ticket.

$1 from each ticket sold will go towards supporting the Department of Theatre. During registration, attendees will have the option to make an additional donation to the Department of Theatre.
