Certificate in Women, Gender, Sexuality, and the Law
The Graduate Certificate in Women, Gender, Sexuality, and the Law, open to all JD students, gives students the opportunity to deepen their knowledge and develop their expertise in the area of women, gender, sexuality, and the law.
This is a 14 credit-hour certificate through the School of Law. Students take 2 required law courses (6 credit hours), 2 non-law courses (at least 6 credit hours) from a pre-approved list of electives, a co-op in a related field, and a piece of substantial writing that meets the upper-level rigorous writing requirement that has a clear connection to women, gender, and/or sexuality studies.
Interested students should contact Professor Libby Adler at the School of Law, who will serve as Law advisor, and WGSS Program Director Suzanna Walters, who will serve as WGSS advisor, with any questions.
