Aaron Block Wins Outstanding Teacher of First Year Engineering Students Award

Aaron Block, Associate Teaching Professor in English, has won the College of Engineering Outstanding Teacher of First Year Engineering Students Award for his teaching of first year engineering students in English in 2019-2020. Awardees are chosen from departments based on results submitted by CoE freshmen, who rate each of their instructors at the end of the year. One student submitted the following regarding Professor Block’s teaching:

“Professor Block is very friendly and teaches with enthusiasm. He was very knowledgeable and definitely cares about us as people rather than students. He was a great teacher because he was fun and helpful.”
