Qianqian Zhang-Wu Publishes on Monolingual Teachers of Multilingual Students

Qianqian Zhang-Wu, Assistant Professor of English and Director of Multilingual Writing, was featured in Language Learning in Anglophone Countries, edited by Ursula Lanvers, Amy S. Thompson, and Martin East, for her publication titled “Preparing Monolingual Teachers of Multilingual Students: Strategies That Work”. Zhang-Wu’s text reviews the under-preparation of predominantly monolingual K-12 teachers in supporting their bi/multilingual students and responds with three hands-on, practitioner-oriented activities which “aim to raise awareness of linguistically responsive instruction.”
