Keneya was drawn to Northeastern for its intellectually stimulating courses, diverse research opportunities, and its close-knit, supportive community. Within CSSH, she was able to deeply explore her passion for criminal justice reform through a combination of coursework and hands-on learning experiences.

Experiential Education:
Keneya spent her first co-op as a legal office assistant at MG+M Law Firm and was invited to stay on as an intern beyond her co-op period. Her second co-op consisted of two part-time co-ops as a paralegal intern at MG+M and a research assistant for the Civil Rights Restorative Justice Project. Keneya will return to MG+M in January as a paralegal.
Keneya studied abroad at the London School of Economics in Summer 2024, where she took classes on International Law and Public Policy Analysis.
Community Engagement:
Keneya has also volunteered at the Boys and Girls Club, and worked on two research projects with funding from PEAK with Professor Jacob Stump and Professor Patrice Collins.
