From Networking to Noah to Northeastern Global News: Wendy Parmet’s Story of Success

People in this story

Wendy Parmet, WGSS affiliated faculty, Professor of Law, and Director of the Center for Health Policy and Law, has been working at Northeastern for almost 40 years.

One of the proudest moments of her career is acting as co-counsel in Bragdon v. Abbott—an opportunity she wouldn’t have received if not for networking and Northeastern’s co-op program. Today, Parmet is one of the nation’s leading experts in policy, and she has turned NUSL’s Center for Health Policy and Law into one of the top programs of its type.

According to Schuyler Velasco, who recently wrote an article about Parmet for the Northeastern Global News, Parmet doesn’t like talking about herself. She will, however, talk about Noah, her 8-year-old toy poodle mix. To learn more about her networking success, Noah, her accomplishments, and what her colleagues and students think about her, read this profile piece in the Northeastern Global News!
