Prof. Lori Lefkovitz Donates Archival Material to Brandeis University

Professor Lori Lefkovitz is the director of Northeastern’s Jewish Studies program, as well as a WGSS executive committee member. Recently, Prof. Lefkovitz donated records from her time as the founding director of Kolot: Center for Jewish Women’s and Gender Studies (1996-2010), the first center of its kind at a rabbinical school. These records help fill in crucial gaps in the Brandeis University Archives’ collection on the early years of Jewish feminism. Prof. Lefkovitz was happy to donate the materials to her alma mater and expressed gratitude to those involved with creating and running the Center.
