Conflict and Violence

Conflict and violence are present in both everyday life and arise amid momentous social change, and include interpersonal conflicts; state violence; engagements between ethnic and religious groups, wars between nation states, and structural and symbolic violence. Research and writings examine how conflicts emerge, shape daily lives, and are contested through efforts to build and sustain peace and justice.
