WGSS Faculty Collaborate on a New Book

Professors Moya Bailey, Sarah J. Jackson, and Brooke Foucault Welles released their new book #HashtagActivism: Networks of Race and Gender Justice with MIT Press on February 14, 2020. The authors worked on the book while they were all serving as members of the WGSS Executive Committee. The book discusses how marginalized groups use Twitter to advance counter-narratives, preempt political spin, and build diverse networks of dissent.
