To request a sign language interpreter or CART for an event or program, please complete an Interpreter / CART Request Form . The DRC will make every effort to provide the requested accommodation. Please note that it is strongly preferred that requests be made at least 3 weeks in advance, if possible. Requests received outside the recommended timeline below may be difficult to accommodate with preferred services and/or providers. Questions should be directed to

If you require communication access services for the deaf or hard of hearing or believe that you require a reasonable accommodation for another reason please contact [add event coordinator name and contact] by [add date 3 weeks prior to event].

In addition, if interpreting services are being provided and attendees do not need to request services, the following template language/image should be used on flyers, notices, emails for the event. Please also include the symbol for sign language interpretation, which is available for download here.
