Halloween Open House & Social for new students

This event is meant to provide an opportunity for our new students to gather, learn more about the Department, ask questions, and get to know one another. Feel free to have some fun and join in costume or enjoy a Halloween snack.

New undergraduate students in the Economics Department are invited to a virtual open house and social! Highlights are below.

  • 3:00 – 3:10 Welcome and Introductions (Undergraduate Program Director Professor Gustavo Vicentini & representatives from student clubs)
  • 3:10 – 3:20 Brief presentation by Professor Vicentini
  • 3:20 – 3:35 General Q&A
  • 3:35 – 3:40 Brief screen break/transition time
  • 3:40 – 4:15 New Student Breakout Groups

Socialize and get to know your peers by rotating through several student breakout groups. Some optional discussion prompts will be provided.
