Prospective MS Students
If you are considering the MS in Economics at Northeastern, this page is designed to help you get to know our program and make an informed decision. Our STEM-certified program prepares students for careers in industry, government, and research and is offered on our Boston and Seattle campuses.
The Program
Students build a strong foundation in statistics, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics through our core curriculum. From there, students choose electives across economics fields or complete the Data Science in Economics concentration, which is required for students in Seattle.
Co-op
Co-op is one of the most distinctive features of a Northeastern education. MS Economics students may complete a paid, full-time, six-month co-op with leading employers in the private, public, and government sectors while continuing to earn their degree. Learn more about the co-op option. | See career outcomes.
