Dr. Madhavi Venkatesan will be participating in the Environmental Justice Panel hosted by the student group United Nations Association at Northeastern on Thursday, April 15 at 7pm ET. UNA Northeastern advocates for the Sustainable Development Goals on campus and this would be their third annual Earth Day event, which will focus around international environmental justice this year.
In fall 2021, Dr. Venkatesan will be working with students to develop a short documentary, The Sustainability Worldview, on the Northeastern Univeirtity campus. The film is supported by grant funding from the Humanities Center. She is looking for interested students to assist in the development and production process.
