Digital Integration Teaching Initiative

The DITI has developed several asynchronous modules which Northeastern faculty can integrate into their courses. These modules contain content equivalent to a workshop for a digital skill. Each module introduces a digital proficiency and provides step-by-step instruction with screenshots, videos, suggested discussion board topics, and reference materials. You can freely download template Canvas modules and repurpose them for the class you are teaching.

All template modules are freely available in Canvas Commons. In order to access a module from this page: first log in to the Northeastern Canvas webpage and then use the Canvas module links provided below. You can also go to Canvas Commons with your Northeastern University credentials and search for the modules using their names. Please credit the DITI when using these modules.

The DITI also develops specialized Canvas modules for faculty partnerships. If you are interested in developing a customized module with us, please contact us or apply during the Call for Partnerships for partnering with the DITI.

Sharing and License: These modules are available to any member of the Northeastern University community to adapt and reuse. They are shared under a Creative Commons: Attribution license.

Before you click on links to the modules:
First log in to Northeastern’s Canvas site, and then click on the link to the module in the lists below. If you are not previously logged into Northeastern Canvas, these links will not redirect you to Northeastern Canvas webpage.

You can also go to Canvas Commons using Northeastern University credentials and search for the modules using their names.
