Pround Boys: It will go anonymously to another group.
Like at least one other charity in the state, the Enfield Food Shelf has denied an attempted donation of food from the far-right group the Proud Boys, saying the all-male extremist organization doesn’t align with the charity’s values.
The Proud Boys donated 675 pounds of food last week to the Enfield Food Shelf after the donation was made to and rejected by Hands On Hartford.
Once Enfield Food Shelf organizers became aware the food came from the Proud Boys, they attempted to have the group’s members retrieve the donation, efforts that have been ongoing all week.
