Scholarships & Tuition

All applicants are considered for merit scholarships at the time of admission.  

Financial Aid

Students seeking financial aid can find more information on the Graduate Student Financial Services website. Applicants admitted to our graduate programs are eligible for a range of merit scholarships. These awards are in the form of a tuition discount that reduces the price of the program by a certain percentage, and apply for the duration of the program so long as recipients maintain their academic standing. The following scholarships are available to students seeking degrees within the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs:

  1. CSSH Dean’s Scholarship
  2. MA in International Affairs: Global Impact Scholarship
  3. MS in Urban Informatics: Urban Innovators Scholarship
  4. MS in Urban Planning and Policy: Urban Leaders Scholarship

Below are additional departmental scholarship opportunities open to degree-seeking students within the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs.

  1. AmeriCorps Scholarships: Scholarships in the form of a 20% tuition discount will be awarded to AmeriCorps alumni who enroll in one of our master’s programs full time. In addition, the application fee is waived for all AmeriCorps alumni. AmeriCorps alumni are also eligible for increased awards via the CSSH Dean’s Scholarship
  2. Public Policy and International Affairs Scholarships: The School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs is a proud member of the PPIA Program. Alumni of the PPIA Junior Summer Institute who apply to the School shall have their application fees waived. PPIA alumni who are admitted to the School shall be awarded a merit tuition scholarship of at least $10,000, with eligibility for higher level awards.
