Landwise Advisors is seeking a planner/economic analyst.
Landwise is an advisory firm helping owners and institutions maximize the quality, utility, and value of their land assets through expertise in planning and land use economics. Landwise is a boutique Boston area firm founded in 2015, providing consulting services to institutions, land owners and developers, public sector and non-profits, as well as small businesses and families. Landwise utilizes data driven analysis in the service of sound strategic advice, delivered in a clear and graphically rich format. Key responsibilities include:

- Conduct primary and secondary economic, demographic, and real estate research;
- Create high quality graphics, GIS maps, and reports to communicate findings and recommendations;
- Develop statistical demand models to assist in program development;
- Manage financial modeling efforts in support of feasibility analysis;
- Conduct case study research on best practice developments;
- Participate in client meetings and presentations;
- Support business development and project pursuits
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in economics, business, real estate, urban studies or planning, architecture, or other liberal arts disciplines with an emphasis on quantitative and qualitative analysis;
- Several years of work experience in the real estate, planning, architecture or civil engineering fields.
- Strong academic record;
- Passion for data analysis, ability to structure quantitative and qualitative problem-solving approaches, and attention to detail and accuracy;
- High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and in conducting internet research;
- High level of graphic capability with experience working with the Adobe Suite products, in particular Adobe Illustrator;
- High level of proficiency in GIS is required;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Profile of a self-starter, good time manager and “team player”;
- Experience with financial modeling is desirable, but not required.
