Prof. Prakash has been inducted as a Fellow of the Bureau for Research and Economic Analysis of Development (BREAD), one of the most prestigious and selective professional associations in economics. BREAD’s membership is by invitation only and includes a small network of leading development economists from the world’s top universities such as Harvard, MIT, Yale, Princeton, Berkeley, and Northwestern. The organization is renowned for shaping the research frontier in development economics and for co-hosting conferences with the National Bureau of Economic Research (NBER), the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), and the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS).
