Doreen Lee, Associate Professor of Anthropology, has been awarded the Harry J. Benda Book Prize for 2019 by the Southeast Asia Council (SEAC) of the Association for Asian Studies. This award was given in recognition of her achievement as the author of Activist Archives: Youth Culture and the Political Past in Indonesia, published by Duke University Press.
