A queer intersex artist, facilitator, and healing professional, Opulence Abundance, is offering a program titled “Ending the War Within & Finding Inner Peace.”  This talk normalizes mental health struggles by sharing anecdotal wisdom alongside research around stress. The talk concludes with somatic exercises to help move stress from the body. This program is centered for students and staff with multiple marginalized identities.

Overview of PSJW
Peace & Social Justice Week (PSJW) is an annual signature week-long event hosted by the Social Justice Resource Center in collaboration with various campus partners. PSJW is an opportunity for the Northeastern community to engage in dialogue, reflection, and action. This is open to all students, staff, faculty, and community members where you can share your experiences and speak your truth as to what peace and social justice mean to you.

Our theme is grounded in the idea of liberatory enoughness and centers the importance of community care and connection. How do we allow ourselves to be “enough already” and live authentically and holistically? How are we affirming that the communities we build are “enough already”? How do we take action after having had “enough already” and create opportunities for sustainable movement building?
