Associate Professor Bilge Erten presented at the Initiative for Policy Dialogue (IPD)’s 25th Anniversary Conference, “The End of Neoliberalism, and the Transition Towards a Green and Digital Economy,” held at Columbia University on September 12–13, 2025.
Prof. Erten participated in Panel 2: A Global Architecture for Knowledge Creation and Diffusion, and Structural Transformation, held on September 12 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM. The panel was moderated by Jeronim Capaldo (Boston University), and featured fellow panelists including Eric Verhoogen (Columbia University), Bruce Greenwald (Columbia Business School), Robert Howse (NYU School of Law), and Ebrahim Patel (Former Minister of Trade and Industry, South Africa).
The two-day conference celebrated 25 years of IPD, founded by Nobel Laureate Joseph Stiglitz, and explored the future of development policy in a post-neoliberal world.
