The paper, Transient Poverty in a Sustainable Development Context by Madhavi Venkatesan, Assistant Teaching Professor of Economics and founder of Sustainable Practices, has been published in the International Journal of Sustainable Development & World Ecology. In this paper, Dr. Venkatesan highlights the way that transient poverty is often overlooked in policy making and suggests avenues for research in this area.
