About the Competition

The College Fed Challenge is a prestigious national competition where undergraduate teams analyze current economic and financial conditions and present monetary policy recommendations to a panel of Federal Reserve economists. Teams compete by delivering presentations and participating in question-and-answer sessions that test their knowledge of macroeconomic theory, monetary policy, and the Federal Reserve system.

The 2025 Boston regional competition featured approximately 25 universities from across New England, with only six teams advancing to the regional finals.
