Peter Simon Comments on Tariffs and Small Businesses

Professor Peter Simon was featured in a Boston Globe article discussing the potential impact of proposed tariffs on small businesses in New England.

Simon noted that if affected countries retaliate, small businesses that export goods to Canada or Mexico could be hurt. He also highlighted the impact on industries such as car dealerships, stating, “Most of the cars that we get from Mexico are produced by American firms down there.”
