Non-Profit/NGOs

Nonprofit and nongovernmental organizations play a critical role in society by addressing needs outside the domain of government and private entities. In addition to responding to the urgent needs of vulnerable individuals and communities, these organizations are vital contributors and advocates in areas such as health, education, the arts and culture, the environment, and racial and social justice. CSSH faculty and researchers evaluate the impact these organizations in our society, provide data that informs their practice, and prepare students for careers in the sector.
