Cara Michell at the Royal Geographical Society Conference

Prof. Cara Michell represented Northeastern and C2C at the annual Royal Geographical Society (RGS) conference in London, UK in Summer 2024. On a panel entitled “Intellectual Gaslighting: Mapping the Decolonial Erasures and Recovery of Global Black Geographies in Europe,” Prof. Michell shared her ongoing participatory mapping work at the Flatbush African Burial Ground with Shanna Sabio of Grow House Community and Urban Development. This work was generously funded by a C2C Policy Fellowship.
