Rackell graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and Psychology, with a minor in Law and Public Policy.
Her six-month co-op as a legal intern at the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York strengthened her commitment to a legal career centered on advocacy and protecting individual rights—particularly for those from marginalized communities. The experience gave her a solid foundation in legal practice and reinforced her dedication to justice and equity.
At Northeastern University, Rackell consistently earned Dean’s List honors and received the First-Generation College Student Experiential Achievement Award. She worked as a research assistant on labor trafficking projects with Professor Amy Farrell, which deepened her interest in policy reform and raising public awareness.
She also served as an office assistant in the School of Criminology and Criminal Justice, a peer mentor for the College of Social Sciences and Humanities, and was a member of Northeastern’s International Honor Society in Psychology. A motto that has stayed with her since childhood:
“El que quiere moños bonitos, aguanta jalones” — those who seek great things must endure the struggles that come with them.
