Academic and Professional Journey
Aidan Averbakh is a Criminal Justice major at Northeastern University graduating in Spring 2026. His academic and professional interests center on public service, law, and the role of government institutions in shaping society.
Aidan completed his first co-op with the Massachusetts Department of Telecommunications and Cable as a Regulatory Specialist. In this role, he worked directly with constituents, explaining state regulations related to cable and telecommunications and helping individuals navigate complex regulatory processes.
He is currently completing his second co-op with Tremont Strategies Group, a government relations firm. There, he conducts research on federal legislation and government actions, gaining insight into policy development and the legislative process during a period of significant federal activity.
Looking Ahead
Aidan is currently applying to law schools and plans to pursue a career in public service. His primary areas of interest include constitutional law and appellate law.
