For MPH students, the Certificate in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies consists of a minimum of five graduate courses: a choice of one of two required courses in WGSS, two core courses in PHTH including projects focused on gender/sexuality, and a choice two elective courses outside of PHTH or one elective course outside of PHTH and a PHTH capstone project focused on gender/sexuality. The certificate curriculum, including a list of required courses and approved electives, can be found in the university catalog.
Certificate students may petition for courses to be added to the list of approved electives by contacting the program coordinator with a course syllabus.
