In this inaugural year of the Center’s Best Article Prize, we are looking for articles published in 2025 or 2026 by graduate students that address key global issues and make an original contribution to a theoretical and/or empirical puzzle. We welcome research using diverse approaches and methods, including qualitative and historical approaches. We are especially interested in work that bridges theory and practice in the humanities and social sciences to deepen policy-oriented expertise and encourage global public engagement. If you have a recently published article in a peer-reviewed journal, please send it to us for consideration with a few lines about its relevance for the prize and the journal reputation or ranking. The winner will receive $300 and will be featured on the Center’s website.

The deadline for nominations has passed. Please check back in Spring 2027 for future deadlines. Please send nominations and original papers directly to Diana Atoui at [email protected].
