Professor Christopher Bosso
It is my pleasure to welcome you to the Master of Public Administration, an academic program of the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities at Northeastern University. Our community is an interdisciplinary group of scholars and practitioners conducting cutting edge research and translational work to serve the public good.
A nationally ranked and NASPAA accredited management and leadership degree program, the MPA equips our students with skills in policy analysis, program evaluation, research methods, and communications. Consistent with the College of Social Sciences and Humanities commitment to the Experiential Liberal Arts, our program provides a range of experiential learning opportunities throughout the curriculum, ranging from part-time internships to client-driven small group capstone projects, and, for some students, full-time professional experience through Northeastern’s signature cooperative education program. These experiences empower our students to move into a wide array of public and nonprofit sector positions at the local, state, national, and international levels. Our strong network of alumni throughout the world connect students to these many opportunities.
I welcome you to join our vibrant community of scholars, students, and community partners, dedicated to serving and advancing the public good.
